Question not for me since I dont shop there.
- Is it still issued by HSBC?
- What do they pull?
- Easy to recon CL upon approval?
I think it's now issued by Capital one..I'd check whogavemecredit to see if any info on who pulls..
I'm not sure how c1 is with recons since they aren't that great about anything else..LOL

Neiman Marcus is GECRB AFAIK. TU is primarily GE's choice but I have seen EQ. Recon is very slim to none with GE, computer decisions.
Sorry, this is not correct, as of right now on Neimanmarcus.com on apply for card at bottom:
"The Neiman Marcus credit card is offered and administered by Capital One, N.A. (Capital One)."
When I worked at Neiman Marcus in Chicago back in 2004-2005 it was HSBC and they would do ANYTHING possible to give people accounts because it is almost ALWAYS the case depending what department that if they don't approve the card the customer is going to walk away because of not having Amex or something... $700 is the LOWEST I know of when they open an account.
They also didn't really post Credit Lines until about 1-2 years ago because they would let charges go through with little work for at least 25-30% above CL... but then they started issueing credit lines and it kind of went down hill... Assume that was part of the change to Capital One.

According to a customer review posted last month about her experience shopping at a California Neiman Marcus, Neiman Marcus still does not accept Mastercard or Visa. Still feeling curious about what their policy is on accepted forms of payment, I found this article from last fall:
"Neiman Takes More Plastic"

"Starting Nov. 1, customers at the luxury department store's 41 locations will be able to pay using Visa and MasterCard, the plastic of the masses."

I believe they accept over phone on catalog and they started at Flagship store in Dallas... Not sure who else, sorry didn't look at link yet.
Nah. They take visa/mc now. Well at least at several stores in California that my wife knows TOO WELL.
The closest store around her eis about 30 minutes away in New Hampshire.
I heard it's easier to get than Saks
