Never seen this message before with Comenity CLI

So as a routine, I periodically look for SP credit line increases and on both my Victoria's Secret and Express I got this message:
Thank you for your interest in a credit limit increase. To complete your request, we need more information. Please call the Customer Care team at 1-800-201-4955 (TDD/TTY: 1-800-695-1788) at your earliest convenience.

It could be identity verification.

Recent address change? I got this message for a month after moving.

I just got the same message on my account. If you have a fraud alert or comenity *THINKS* you have a fraud alert, that could be one reason. I've been fighting them for a month just to get a replacement card, they are using a stale report for me as I formerly had an alert on my CRs, but it's been removed since late spring.

Re: Never seen this message before with Comenity CLI

Just went through on my HSN...called asking for CLI..they increased me to 3900.
Think its a verification step.
Will see if they repeat next month

That's actually a pretty common message from Comenity. Give it a week or two and it should be back to normal. I get it occasionally and I haven't had any fraud alerts on my reports. Nobody really knows what triggers it.
