I was just browsing the amex website and saw this referral offer. I don't know if this is a common referral offer but 3% more cashback for 3 months seems like a really good offer.
Interesting, so if i were to refer a fiend from my BCP at 6% on grocery, I then would start earning 9% for three months?! Wow!
Too bad I don't have anyone to refer, the people I know aren't into the Credit game.
Similar offer across all my accounts. For the MR accounts, it's an MR bonus for me, and a stated SUB offer bonus for the referral. Then I would earn 3 additional MR points during the 3 month period. For the Marriott, +3 Marriott points, for Hilton, +3 Hilton points.
If I had any friends, that is.

The page image I show above is from:
The splash page to AmericanExpress dot com, where you would go to log in to your account.
My AMEX splash page has four sliding page "offers" or notices. One of those pages is the "three referral bonus" reference.
Click on the "learn more" button for the three referral bonus, then log in to your AMEX account to get to the offer screen I screen capped.
Unless you don't have the SUB offers to send at all.
I just logged into my Amex account to see what sort of offers are on there and this one stuck out:
When you click on the details it expands to this:
Links to this Terms and Conditions page.
And an excerpt from there:
Additional +3 Rewards Qualifying Card Members will receive an additional three (3) rewards per eligible dollar spent on their Card account (for the Card referred) for three (3) months, starting from the date the referral results in an approved account. The additional three (3) rewards will be applied to rewards categories for which eligible purchases are rewarded with cash back, Membership Rewards® Points, Delta Bonus Miles®, Hilton Honors Bonus Points or Marriott Bonvoy Points. The following are some examples of how qualifying Card Members will earn additional rewards during the 3-month offer period:
* A Blue Cash Everyday® Card Member who typically earns, among other rewards, 2% cash back at U.S. Gas Stations and 1% cash back on other purchases will earn 5% cash back at U.S. Gas Stations (2% + additional 3%) and 4% cash back on other purchases (1% + additional 3%) during the 3-month offer period.
* A Green Card Member who typically earns, among other rewards, 3X Membership Rewards® Points on Restaurants will earn 6X (3X + additional 3 Points) during the 3-month offer period
For qualifying Amex EveryDay® Card Members, points awarded under this offer will not be included when we calculate Extra Points.
Figured I'd point it out here in case anyone missed it and can take advantage. If I had anyone to refer, it would make the BCE a 4% on everything card for the limited 3 months, 5% on gas and I would actually use it (I mean I would if I wasn't focusing all spend on the CSP to meet that bonus lol).
This was mentioned on Doctor of Credit last week
