Okay, so I recently I applied to some cards (some drunkapping some not -- only apply under a mental status that will weight your credit report correctly) On June 28th, I applied and got accepted for Discover IT card ($500) and Delta Amex ($2,000) with a 10 month history on a revolving credit card (BOA secured $500) and got approved for both. After a few weeks I want to transition out my secured card and BOA wasn't being nice to a pretty great customer so I applied a to Capital Journey Student ($500) and got approved. Then ultimatium'ed BOA and they unsecured me with a limit of (1,500) and PC'ed me to BOA Travel Rewards. Then on a drapping state of mind, I applied for a Citi Dividend Plat Student Card ($2,500 -- woah) and got approved and a Wells Fargo Student Card and told to submit enrollment verification (which I hear is pretty much an approval for some type of limit) then tried to push my limit and got 7 day wait limited for Chase Freedom. I know it is REALLY bad to app spree but I though I would just get a few card that will ALL age together. I don't mind a dip in current credit scores being that I will DEFINITELY not apply for a credit card until next year or two year from now. Will report back on Adverse Action, any prediction on adverse action? (I will close my amex account if an FR comes my way, invasion of privacy, so I don't worry)

Congratulations on the approvals! That's a pretty impressive haul!
I'm a student with low income and a thin file as well, and my ultimate goal is the Amex Gold Delta Skymiles. Would you mind sharing a ballpark of what your income was when you applied? I'm trying to get an idea of what Amex likes to see.
My income is 30,000. However still low but higher than most college students. I'm in a pretty lucky scenario where I work an annual salary job while still in college. At the time of approval I had my 500 dollar BOA secured for 10 months and two student loans about 11 months old. I was approved for the lowest limit Amex gives out (so I think) and they pulled all three credit bureaus to approve me. So probably should avoid applying with an income under a minimum of 25,000, but who knows.

Thanks for the reply. That's definitely a good income for college students, congrats on the job!
I'm making about half that, so I'll probably hold out until I have a better financial situation.
