I just logged into my citi forward account and saw the link for request CLI. I thought it was the standard 3mos thing, so I clicked it. Instead, it asked for the CLI request amount and 2 bank accounts information.
It said check back in 30 mins for results. I'll let you know what happens.
Has anyone else seen this/tested it and what were your results?

Whenever you get the form and fill it out it is a hard pull. Perhaps it is the first time you got the form but It is not a new process. There are many old posts about it here.
I got the form few months back and didn't fill it out.
Then tried again a few weeks later and got the msg to call instead of the form and CLI was granted the hard free way instead.

Hard free = soft (inquiry) ?
Just making sure here, I've had the CLI link (unused) for many months now, and I don't want any hard inquiries whatsoever on personal accounts.
in fact I clicked on it...gave me a number to call
spoke to a rep and got a instant CLI without a hard
I made sure they don't pull it hard b4 asking them though...
Wanted to give a follow up on this one:
So I filled out the form. They requested documentation of income. I said what the heck since I probably already wasted a hard inq anyway. So I sent in my pay stubs. Today I logged into the account -- request approved. CLI of 5K to 16K limit. I'd say it was worth the hard inq. Now I'm just going to let my reports chill until next year when I apply for an auto loan.
$5k -> $16k ? Holy Smoke!
That's one heck of an increase, and deserves major "Congratulations"!
Way to go, zkder!!
Oh yeah! Congrats!
I just called and they gave me a $2100 instant increase approval. I'll take it, $8100
Way to Go!!! That's a huge increase!!
What is your income? Did you change from when you first applied, and now when you sent them in a pay stub?
