When i filled out the short form, it showed me instantly what i was approved for and i pushed accept and thats it. pretty quick
oh, i have to fill it out then verify then submit and then get an answer is that a hard pull?
Just tried the new form. Asked for a $1500 increase on both my cards. One card came back with approved for a lesser amount, $1000, no credit pull. ..the other card came back with your request has been sent to the credit department for review... just got an email with a denial...with a 7-10 day notice.

What does everyone think?
this appears to be a hard pull if you ask me (says it right there on the form). and smc733, when you logged in today, did this pop up instantly, or did you actually scroll/click the cli link first?
I clicked the CLI link. First account stated that no pull was used. 2nd account was a hard pull on EQ.
do they always use equifax?
All my Citi Cards have pulled EQ...this includes my AA Visa Sig, Plat M/C, Home Depot and Sunoco cards...
what state do you live in? i have the aa platinum citicard and the platinum select
Michigan
I get credit limit increases on both of my Citi cards every three months(all softs) now like clockwork and if I click on the link before the three months is up a long form will show up which would be a hard pull on my credit reports. This new form must be what the csr's see when you had to call in for a cli request after the card act went into effect. I actually got used to calling in for cli's but it appears not anymore so far.
