This new form to me totally stinks, before you knew exactly when you was due for a cli without a HARD pull when you did not see the long form on your online citi accout and it stated in words "for a cli CALL the number that is on the back of your cc". With this new form here you never know now when you are due for a cli also you are taking a BIG chance on a hard pull.
Sorry to bump this after it's been buried, but I'm still confused by people saying it will never pull a hard if you don't get the form.
Does it actually automatically approve a CLI for some people once they click the initial "Request a Credit Line Increase" button? Or are they just referring to the old system with the short form and the long form?
Got the same form today and asked for $3000 increase. It came back saying they can increase me by $1600 immediately and no credit bureau report was pulled. Yay! Now i'm up to $6400!

Yeah, that's basically what happened to me, but since it specifically indicates that no report was pulled, does that imply that it can pull a hard? or is there a different form?

I believe so ~ it depend on your record.
After reading many threads on this topic especially the last thread that bunnyrabbit made showing the screen proccesses from beginning to end, you gotta love computers lol, thanks bunnyrabbit i said to myself what the heck and tried for myself online requested $1,200.00 and in under 30 seconds the request was granted current limit now at $14,650.00 and it also stated on one of the screens no credit report pull was done, now that was a sigh of relief to see. Thanks to everyone on this forum to learn from eachother!!!!

Yeah, his post is definately a useful one, now I just want to know if that specific form can also do a hard pull. Everyone I've seen posting about this form so far has been successful and gotten a soft. It just makes me nervous not knowing.

Beware though! I did this for one of my two Citi cards, soft pull, instant increase of $1,000. Did it for another, hard pull, declined.
Personally, I would call them and ask if you are eligible for a soft-pull CLI, they will be able to tell you on the phone. Saves an INQ, especially since I have so many on EX.
