New Discover feature: REQUEST INCREASE button!

Log in a minute ago like every other day, but just to the right of the total credit line is a REQUEST INCREASE button. I'm very tempted to touch it.

Re: New Discover feature: REQUEST INCREASE button!

I haven't even received my card in the mail yet and it's giving me this option online. I haven't clicked it yet, I'll probably call to activate and ask them then. How long have you had your card bow? Apparently the best time to wait for discover is 6 months according to others. Let us know what happens.

Re: New Discover feature: REQUEST INCREASE button!

If ya'll aren't seeing it on the main page, at the top of the page click on "customer service" under where it say "manage my account", you'll see two options.

One is :

  • Request a credit limit increase
  • Request a credit limi decrease

Hope that helps.  And as I understand, online it is a Soft Pull, if the system is unable to grant an increase during the soft pull, it will then ask for you to call in, if you have to call in with a person, that would be a hard pull....just what I've heard from others ,but like I said I should be receiving my card today, so I'll ask for a CLI when I call to activate.

Re: New Discover feature: REQUEST INCREASE button!

Hopefully that works for ya..

Most people posted saying if it could immediately offer you a cli it would do so with a soft pull, and others said it asked for more info, and at that point it would be a hard pull, so I guess peoples situations have been different.

Hope it stop spinning for you and you get a decision!

BUZZZZZZZZZZZ, OH were sorry, our parting contestants recieve Jiffy PoP Popcorn, and Rice A Roni, the San Francisco treat LOL.

Well, my account is only 4 months old, and the speed with which it came back, there was no time to pull a soft or hard.
