New Goal, AMEX BLUE SKY!

I have a feeling I have a bit of a journey ahead in order to obtain this card.  I have a BK that's only 3 years old (heard AMEX wont even look twice if BK shows up), but my scores are finally approaching the 700's.  I felt so good to get the Discover IT card, but now I'm making AMEX my new goal.  Hopefully with a bit of gardening, and more age on that BK ill join the AMEX family!

A great goal to have and that old adage about them not issuing a card with BK on file is not true. You probably wont get one before 7 yrs post BK but I have been reading in different forums that some have been getting them with good solid portfolios 8,9 yrs post BK. Good luck in your journey

Thank you gdale, I can wait now that I got my Discover IT card.  Just been paying everything down ($4200->$1200) in a couple months, now I'm going to try the 0 balance on all cards but one and see if I can get over 700 before my birthday in April.  Never thought credit management could be so challenging and fun.
