New MACYS CC Levels

I called Macy's to ask about this.  The woman I spoke with says there has been no change in criteria:

Red card: $1-$499

Gold card: $500-$999

Platinum: $1000-$2499

Black: $2500+

I will lose my Black card after this year.  I have all the clothes and such I could possibly need.

I think theres always those reps that dont know whats going on until some days later, when sams club changed their CC design I called them to ask about it and they told me "no there has been no changes yet" I think the new levels are way better and easier to reach.

Guess I should dust mine off and use it so I can at least get past the first level.

Damn, why are they doing that? I was very happy with my black AMEX card!!!!

Oh I don't think they will do away with black!
The basic will be back to red though instead of the white for Amex and others for store

Hello, I just got an email stating that I was in one of their tier's called Elite and that I would get all these perks like 1.5% cash back and special offers etc. Basically it is a spending bracket.

Almost a decent recent to keep the card

What does anyone know about this, is this a new thing?
