New York Life Rewards Visa
Hi Everyone.
Today I received a mail offer for this card and I have never heard any talk about it on the forum before.
Don't worry ERTs...I'm not planning to leave the garden to apply. LOL! I'm just curious as to whether others have seen this card before or have it.
Here is a link to the card.

Had me worried everyone is charging the fence tonight....Lol
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Don't worry about me! I'm staying put! I want to see some 700 scores by the end of the year. Preferably across the board!

Re: New York Life Rewards Visa
OP - I'm not familiar with the NY Life product itself; however, the card is administered by First Bankcard (an affiliate of FNBO). They also provide specific products to other mid-size regional banks or financial entities but overall services are pretty good by FNBO standards.
Here are a couple other offerings that First Bankcard also administers on behalf of NY Community Bank, AmTrust, Garden State Comunity Bank and Ohio Savings Bank.

I like the 5.9% for life but don't like the 5% BT Fee if you did it that way vs. a purchase.

Re: New York Life Rewards Visa
Thanks for the info FinStar.
FNBO is pretty reputable so maybe I will add this card to my list of future apps to consider when I come out of the garden next year. LOL!

I agree. I have never seen a 5% BT fee before. The most I've seen is 3%.
