Hi all,
Just got home and saw this in my mail today. I like it a LOT compared to the old card, which was really dull looking. I was wondering how they kept a card around without the EMV chip for so long just last week lol.
I was on the fence about closing it recently. Maybe it'll hang around for a tad bit longer now. What I really want is to app for the Travelite card! We'll see if I can resist temptation

Idk, I kinda like both designs, to be 100% honest -- the cool thing about the original card (IMO) was that it looked like it had the effect of rivulets of interlinked steel
Also j/c leoment, how come you're considering closing out the 7.00% V Amex? Low APR + 1.5% cashback rewards, what's not to like lol? (Plus the every-3-month SP CLI option?)

Idk, maybe it's because I have a Citi Dividend that is already grey that it feels too gray in my wallet?? I like the print they used, just not the shade of gray. This is me just being super picky though.
I'm thinking of closing just because 1. I never carry a balance, and 2. My BOA Travel card nets me effectively 2.6% CB which blows it out of the water. I use it for really minor purchases here and there, but overall it gets very little love. Maybe if I give in and app for the Travelite I'll combine the limits - just need to make my mind up is all
I've had that blue card for quite a while now. Probably since July of last year. They gave it to me as a replacement when there was a fraudulent transaction on my account.
I've gotten the credit limit on the card up to $50k via SP CLI's on two cards, then combining cards, then taking a HP to request $50k and supplying proof of income and employment, etc. So, I certainly consider it a keeper.
I moved this thread back to credit cards so let's keep the discussion on the features and benefits of the card and not the appearance of the physical card.
