No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
"Credit obligations" sounds like balances to me, and not like credit limits.
It seems that the AU can be a double edged sword for you. I would imagine that the amount of CL that you have as an AU is indeed not very proportional to your income so that could make CCCs more cautious about extending you additional credit. You might think about staying an AU on maybe just one of the cards - perhaps the oldest one - to help with your AAoA to see what that does to your score. Besides, you're going to want to build your own primeville cards soon anyways so you want to make sure to put yourself in the best position possible. Good luck.
Edit: Forgot to ask about your balances. If you have a high util - that would also change a lot of things! ![]()
Welcome to the forums!!!!
I agree with parakleet on removing AU on 2 of those cards and keep 1.

Yes, probably. Citi denied a CLI, with this wording:
Your available lines of credit, as shown on your credit bureau report, are too high when compared to your
income.
and this was definitely open credit lines rather than balances (I showed about $300 in credit card debt at the time) So the difference in wording probably means balances.
