Nibbles Credit Card experiences?

So whom here has the nibbles credit card for your fur buddies?  I opened it up about a month ago as get free pet insurance more so for major expenses due to deductible.  What are all of your thoughts that have it so far?  I believe the max CL is 5k which I can be wrong about but pretty good income and high other limits and what I go approved for.  Used it for my new boxer puppy first vet vist a week or so back and no problem and got 3% back on that and also asked if I wanted to file a claim which was cool as saw it was a vet to that part is automated.  Told my mom about card about 7 months ago as she has a golden retriever she already got 600 check from them on some stuff from insurance.  Anyone else experience?  It is a niche card but a no AF card at least now which likely hives a base approx 200 value a year for doing nothing.  Thoughts? Hopefully they dont decide to put and AF on etc and the start-up lasts.  they didnt report for awhile but heard that are starting to report now to eq :/.

I’ve had it for about a year and a half, and it’s been fantastic! I used it when I got my puppy. Most of my claims were approved, but it took about three months to process them, so you still need to pay a bit out of pocket. Other than that, it’s all been as advertised. Honestly, with the increasing cost of pet care, a card like this without an annual fee doesn’t seem like a long-term business plan, so I’m not surprised they might close it down sometime, just like the Mesa card. Only time will tell.

Re: Nibbles Credit Card experiences?

It's on my radar. I'm curious about what experiences people are having with it. Today is my cat's 17th birthday! 🥳

What's your definition of pretty low? $500?

To me, $5000 is pretty low, and I aim for all my CCs to be a nice clean $25k. And someone above said $5000 was the max?

I assume it is the max but not sure as most of my cards are 20K-80k CL's this by far is my lowest so just assumed since a fintech type of company the limits are capped as no one in their right mind would carry I believe one interest rate of 23.99 or 24.99 I believe on card so in theory I believe it would kinda be enough although pet stuff can get expensive but for normal vet stuff and chewy etc it fits the bill.  If it gives me free pet insurance which it does then I can suffer with a 5k limit as have a few with that limit such as IHG 49 legacy card etc I just keep at that limit as use for free night, etc.  I hope other ppl carry balances though as that will keep it a no AF card for me if people carry balances then they will put an AF back on it.

I want it but it seems too good to be true @CreditCuriosity

Am curious of how they mathed this out long term without losing money from disciplined users:

Not sure if they mathed it out long term I think they are likely losing money now on it hoping for more people to apply and then either have people carry balances or add an AF on but at least for a year I am safe with it as policy is enforced when I applied for card with said pet on it it appears they paid 190$ish give or take 10 dollars can't remember exact amount for policy from documents I got from them as shows premium as they don't do the insurance they purchase it from another company that does you can make insurance cheaper on deductibles and add various other things onto then comes the out of pocket costs to the policy but for a card for big ticket items I will take it believe policy max is 25k coverage which is a lot.  Not sure on preventive to be honest need to go back and read all that stuff just figured new puppy = new card with free insurance for now.
