This is my 1st month with BCE.
I met my 1,000 bonus spend within days of having the card. I paid back 700 right after it posted. 4 days after meeting spend, I received my 100 credit. 10 days later, my 1st statement closed.
I then took advantage of an Amex offer. $15 back @1800 flowers. Added it to my card, checked out. Next day I had a $15 credit. Meanwhile, the charge hadn't even posted yet. So in a month's time, I've been given 115.
I have a Blue Cash Preferred, which is the Annual Fee version of the Everyday, so I assume it works the same way.
Opened it last September, and I recall thinking that it was taking forever for the rewards to show up. It wasn't immediately after the first statement. I think it was well into the second billing period, although I don't recall exactly when. Now, the rewards show up pretty much with the statement (my statement closed yesterday, and I noticed the rewards were there today -- I didn't look yesterday).
Reward dollars resulting from the standard categories do not require enrollment, but they are typically 2 statements behind. I'd wait one more billing cycle.
Cash back resulting from spend bonuses and Amex Offers are applied within about a week of meeting the requirements and are applied directly to the balance. Amex Offers *do* require enrollment.
All Amex cards be it cashback or points have a lag time of one month
EDit to add so what you earned last month you'll see on 2nd statement
It feels like it takes FOREVER. I liked using my QS1 and having rewards build up constantly. I hate how every time I check my Amex rewards it's still the same it seems!
ITS MY MONEY AND I WANT IT NOW!
The lag is a little annoying. I've recently SD'ed my EDP, but have found it makes more sense to not PC to ED until after I get the MRs from last months's above-average spending at the higher EDP rates.
