Nordstrom Store Card conversion to Visa Signature

Does anybody have any recent experiences with converting the store card to the Visa siggy?

I was approved in March for $4K on the store card but I'd really like to upgrade to the Siggy card. I've run about $2K through on the card in the 3 months I've had it (always PIF) and will be coming up on the 4th statement cut at the end of this month. Should I give it a run after it cuts or wait until 6 months? Scores are in my sig...I do have a BK from '06 if that matters.

Thanks, bunnyrabbit.

I actually called them this week.  They said they'll be glad to consider me after the 7th statement cut.  Until then, hold tight!

Indeed.  The rep was polite and simply took care of everything I asked for without any script for me to buy something after he took care of my request.  How refreshing!  Smiley Tongue

Re: Nordstrom Store Card conversion to Visa Signature

I believe you can call in two times a year for a cli. Do you mind if I ask what credit line they gave you? I statrted with around 1k store card now have 15k visa. They are great!

Went from $4K on the store card to $6K on the Visa.  I figure to use this a lot so I'll have plenty of opportunities for a CLI in the near future.

Re: Nordstrom Store Card conversion to Visa Signature

CONGRATS! Thats great... I was going to look into this soon as well. (I only have 2 statements under my belt however). I found right off the top that Nordstrom is a pleasure to work with. They're reps are always so polite. I was approved with a 1k limit, and called and asked for a CLI. They asked me how much I wanted, and I said 3k (didn't want to be too greedy). The rep said "that wont be a problem at all" and bumped me up. That definitely was a good feeling! Now, I'll wait patiently, and see about getting it converted after a few more statements :-)
