Nice, score. Now consider following up with a letter to Synchrony, Walmart and Amazon EO letting them know the reasons you decided to close.

I'm not saying they will necessarily care, but it may make you feel better and will definitely let them know that people are not putting up with Synchrony's games.

@Humu- I'm not writing anybody anything. I have better things to do. I've never had a problem with them at all and if others have problems they can write their own letters and speak for themselves...

@Humu I am not sure why you think the OP should write a letter. No where did he state his choice to close the cards had anything to do with things other than he out grew them. So what is he suppose to write "thanks for helping me rebuild but I out grew you so now am closing my accounts"?

No one said the OP should write a letter, please re-read. It's certainly something to consider. It's fine if they were starter cards and he outgrew them, but I doubt he feels all warm and fuzzy about Synchrony after the recent events.

It's his choice, he stated he already made his choice, and I'm really happy for him, so not sure why you have an issue with it.
