Now what? Small payment returned to Chase, computer error?

I paid off the major portion of my Chase before the due date, but had a few small purchases that posted right near it, so I made an additional payment. I KNOW I selected my Navy account from the drop-down pay from box, but just learned that they had taken it from my other checking acct and now have been hit with an NSF fee there as well as the payment having been returned to Chase.  I don't want my APR to skyrocket (although I do try to PIF that one, I do sometimes have a smallish balance).  Tried contacting them through the website and got an error message.  Am I out of luck?

Something similar happened to me. I made the payment but the bank for whatever reason rejected the payment. I sent a secure message to Chase explaining that and they reversed the returned cheque fee, the late fee, and the interest charge right away.
