Odd Discover reporting

My Discover closes on the 11th or something close to it. I just got an alert that it reported to EQ. I can see that my anniversary is 2/2 (opened 2/2/13). Has anyone experienced this with Discover?

This hapened to me this month too. It's never happened before.

My Discover statement closes on the 16th of the month and has always reported a few days thereafter. However, I received an Equifax Score Watch alert yesterday, the 3rd, and found that it had just reported mid-cycle, mirroring what the OP had observed.

I wonder if they're switching to end of month reporting? That would not be good for me.

Mine reported today too, about a week before my payment due date. Weird.

Same happened here. My due date is the 11th, and closing date is the 16th, but I just got an alert today. It was for my last statement balance, which is different than my current balance.
