IF you make 75K a year and have a decent EQ report I would apply for a Penfed credit card. Just be prepared to provide income documentation if they ask. If you don't have a lot of new accounts and a ton of unused available credit you should qualify for at least a line of 10K possibly more.

Sounds like he's opted out to me. From my experience if you have a fraud alert you have to call FICO to be able to get your scores. Might be wrong though. I wouldn't be afraid of BOA with scores like that if your report is clean.

Yes. It is very easy to do. I called and got my member number over the phone, set up my pin and applied for a cc.
