Re: Opinion on chase physical card quality?

I really like the matte finish on the Freedom. I've never noticed it being thinner than my other cards and the finish holds up very well to scratches. The blue Amex revolvers also hide scratches well b/c of the clear plastic.

What I hate most are cards with that shiny plastic finish where after 10 swipes the card looks 10 years old b/c anything that touches it scratches it.

I felt the card was also very thin, so I requested to have the "pay pass" chip put in, and the makes a huge difference. I think "pay pass" is only Mastercard, but Visa has their own too.

I thought everyone was crazy until you said that.  Mine came with the pay pass from the beginning.

Seriously. Zync and BCE didn't hold up well for me at all. Discover and Sapphire look the best to me aesthetic wise.
