Orchard Bank AF question...

Hello,

On the advice of the forum I contacted the Capital One EO last week with regards to having my annual fee waived for my Orchard Bank card.  The fee was slated to be charged on my July 12 statement.  The person I spoke to said that she submitted the request to waive the fee and that I should call her if it is charged for whatever reason.  When I checked my account today, I saw that the Annual Fee was actually credited back to me, even though it wasn’t charged yet.  Is it possible that they refunded the annual fee from last year?  Or should I expect to be charged the fee next week, and this credit cancels it out in advance?

I'll bet that it will get charged again and the credit will cancel it out.

I think that too...though I wish that was more clear.  Not sure how that method is easier than simply waiving the fee.

Re: Orchard Bank AF question...

I'm curiously awaiting to see what happens on my statement...if they don't charge an AF, that would mean that I not only got the fee waived but got the previous AF credited back...that would be quite cool.
