Orchard Bank/HSBC Automatic CLI!

Thought I would add to the excited posts about Orchard giving automatic CLIs -- I logged on today to see a $200 CLI!  The key seems to be paying more than the minimum, and running new charges through....

Woohoo!  I thought this card would NEVER climb above $300!

Congrats! Always great to hear about auto CLIs, especially from Orchard/HSBC. If you dont mind me asking, how long have you had the card for?

Thank you!  I have had this card for 2 years -- another I've had for 3, and have yet to receive a CLI on that one, so I was thrilled to see this!  One thing I'm doing differently, however, is beginning to use them more by paying monthly bills with them and nearly PIF before the bill drops.  I say "nearly" because I leave a couple of dollars on there for the best FICO scoring.

ETA: Just to ask, do you know if Orchard charged a fee for giving you the increase? Just curious because I've heard they do stuff like that...

No fee charged, and no hard pull -- because the CLI was unsolicited.

Congrats! Hopefully that means hsbc will start doing cli across the board soon
