You needed the card in 2007 to either establish credit or rebuild, since that time you have paid $300 to $360 in AF's - it's served its purpose, you are wasting money on AF's and you owe HSBC nothing for the privilege of letting them charge you $60 a year.

These cards won't grow with you like other 'prime' cards, they have one purpose and that's to get people back on their feet.  I have one to rebuild and once I get 2 other cards with a $500-$1k limit I will close my Orchard acct.

Food for thought - I've read from multiple credit repair boards that keeping a card witha low limit open can affect your chances of CLI from other cards.

Close it. It is not only smart financially, it will make you feel better too. Means your work at rebuilding or building your credit is working like it should. Had its place but no more.
