My combined CL's hit over $100k a couple of days ago.

Re: Over $100k...

Just out of curiosity, how many cards do you guys with $100k plus limits have? Just wondering of it's the size of the limits, the number of cards, or a combination of the two that gets you there.

Re: Over $100k...

Looking at the OP's sig line, Id say its a couple with high limits and a few others withnie limits. Im sure there are a few who pull off the single 100k+ limit but its probably the exception, not the norm.

Re: Over $100k...

I'm right around $30,000 total CL but a year ago, I was around $13,000 - I've been rebuilding since a bankruptcy in 2005 (medical bills that I couldn't afford when I had no insurance).  My salary has also more than doubled in the past year too.  Between CLI's and a couple of new cards I'd like to get, my goal is to double my current total CL in the next year (and then I want to buy a house the next year).  It would help if there was a credit union close by, but the closest ones are about an hour away and have strict military requirements.  I have opened up an online account with PenFed and regularly deposit money into it - I am hoping that that will help me get a credit card with them in the future.

Barclays USAir World MC $8300 - DCU $7500 - USAA World MC $7000 - PayPal Extras MC (GE) $5500 - Chase Saphire Preferred $5000 - Discover It $6000 - Barclays Sallie May $2700 - Chase Freedom $1000 - Capital One $8500 (business) - store cards ranging from $500-$9500

$13k to $30k in a year is most excellent Kim. Good job!

Re: Over $100k...

Ahh. I was on my phone and didn't see the siggy.

In response to the OP, my current limit is $10,450 (up from $8,200 just acouple days ago), and I want to hit $25k here in the next year or so with only 2 cards. Will be tough, but I think doable.

Edit: No idea what my internal limit is on the PRG, but I would guess it's around that of my credit cards.
