Overstock CC

Roughly 8-9 months ago, I used the shopping card trick to get an Oversotck CC. I have gotten several credit limit increases since then that account for more than 1000 bucks of the initlal CL, but overstock is still report the initlal amount. Anyone experience something like this? I already have a low overall utilizations but would like my overall credit limit to reflect the correct amount. thanks

Re: Overstock CC

If you use the card, the credit limit will report on the next statement. If not, just dispute it with the credit bureaus and they'll change it.

Re: Overstock CC

You would have to use the card for it to generate a statement. This is what is sent to the credit bureaus. I had my Ann Taylor card since 2014. I never used it because of the low $250 limit. I requested a cli several times, since February. Now it is at $750. The new limit did not report to the credit bureaus until I used the card last month.

Re: Overstock CC

You're better off just using the card and waiting for them to report the new limit. I wouldn't really dispute anything with Comenity...especially if you're not using the card, as it might get them to take a harder look at your account(s). Better to stay under the radar with Comenity
