PC Altitude connect to Reserve

Called in to see if any offers to upgrade. Csr said I can upgrade to the reserve. New card on the way. When I had asked about increasing limit, they said call in after the new card has arrived. I can offset the annual fee easily with my spend.

Thank you. I really gotta quit now. Possibly see if they will bump it up when I get it.

I'm passing the torch to all of you folks. Your turn.

If you haven't gotten the SUB (or it's been a couple years) PC'ing to the Reserve will trigger the 50K SUB if you spend the 4.5k in 3 months. I applied for the Reserve and received the SUB a few years ago, downgraded to the GO after a year, and then PC'ed back up last Nov. Got the 50K sub again when my statement closed this month. Just something to keep in mind.

Thank you for the insight. For me, I have so many offers for free nights at resorts it's unreal. I unfortunately don't have time in my schedule. Free nights from Bahamas to cruise ships and resorts around the country. Only thing on my bucket list is Bellagio or the Wynn buffet. From the pictures I've seen, I would have to double up on ghout medications a week before the way I eat. Oh, but what a way to go.

Thanks for bringing this up though. I'm sure people are thinking that one over.

Wait what? PC doesn't give you a SUB tho. You lose the opportunity to get one... but anyway, I opened the Reserve like idk maybe when it came out and never got the SUB due to spending constraint. But, I'm working on the altitude connect card and if I upgrade again to the reserve. Say what you're saying is true, I would be eligible for the SUB for the Reserve? That's the first time hearing that so I'm kinda shocked...

Congrats. I hope to one day be able to get into the USB ecosystem, if not this year, there's always next year.

It's absolutely true. There are other DPs out there on reddit and Flyertalk (I'm not sure on the rules for links, so I won't include them but can if a moderator says it's ok). Here's my original approval post:

https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Approvals/US-Bank-Altitude-Reserve-Approval-18-100/td-p...

I did receive the sub then. PC'ed to Altitude Go after a year. PC'ed back 11/23 and DING:

They were in my account to use Feb 1st. It's been going on for almost a year (at least from the DPs I can find) but who knows how long it will last.

Re: PC Altitude connect to Reserve

From comments posted in other threads describing the terrible state of USBs IT infrastructure, the SUB after PC may  well be an unintended bug which will probably never be fixed!

Re: PC Altitude connect to Reserve

My thing is would they honor it and also would it get revoked?
