I'm going to miss that blue metal card but getting 1.5 UR and no AF is just to good to pass up since I have Ink+.
Good choice, OP! Did they let you keep the Visa Signature on the card?

Oops, I didn't ask, they did say it would have the same benefits, but my ink is so it really wouldn't matter too me.

Off topic, but I see you have MR, UR and TYP cards. Where are you putting your spend? UR (because of the FU?)

All our personal spend will be split between EDP MR and FU UR now, all of last year it was MR mostly. Plat and Prestige TYP card is just for the card benefits (Centurion, delta & admiral lounges, golf, 4th night free, FHR & car rental status) and used with AA dining program.
I finally got into the Chase core family of cards and not a co-branded one. Got approved for Slate. My goal has always been for a CSP because I like the flexibility of the UR points. It's nice to know you can PC within Chase. I hear the path to the CSP from Slate would have to go through Chase Freedom. Has anyone gone from Slate to CSP via PC?
I also have the Prestige for its benefits. My spend is currently on my Hilton Honors. BUt if I can get the CSP, my spend will definitely be on that card.

It is best to apply for CSP because of the 50k bonus and an addition 5K with adding an AU, that's a lot to leave on the table. If you are over the 5/24 wait, if not apply.
Thanks. I agree. I will wait until July 2018. I have all the cards I need. That is the last card, and ironically one of only three cards I ever wanted and it's the only card I can't seem to snag. lol I've had Amex Platinum, Prestige, Visa Black, both Marriott and IHG, etc. No dice. Denied three times in three years. But I just got approved for a Slate, so I guess things arte looking up? lol
Last year they stated that my HELOC, in which the draw period had just closed, had too much utilization, even though the draw period is closed. I called the bank where I had the HELOC and they said they can't change the OPEN designation on my credit until it is paid off. So, it's OPEN, but I can't use it. lol REveloving credit purgatory?
