PC'd my Chase Rewards to Freedom

I have had my Chase Rewards Visa since 2008. Stuck at 1K CL. This is my lowest CL by far. Others range from 5K - 9.6K (Discover, which is currently my highest.

I have considered closing it, but this was my rebuild card after BK in 2005, and is by far my oldest open TL.  Just PCd to a Freedom via SM in hopes that a different product might result in an auto CLI.

So frustrating.........scores in the 790's - 830's, depending which month it is.........But I'm gardening, and have only 1 inquiry on my report currently (that counts towards my score) and that will be falling off in the next month or two...Just wanna garden at least until my newest accounts are at least 2 years old.

We'll see if it helps...........Its been SD'd for a while. I've been down to just one account carrying a balance (Discover @0%) with my overall util @ 1%. Just paid off Discover, so I may give my Freedom some exercise in the coming months to see if that helps.....

If it were me, I would ask for a CLI. It is going to be a hard pull, but one inquiry on one credit report is not that big of a deal.

Amex BCE $10,000 | BofA Power Rewards WMC $10,000 | Discover It $10,000 | ICBC Preferred Gold UnionPay $8,000 | Local CU Visa $3,500

Re: PC'd my Chase Rewards to Freedom

Think I just want to see what it feels like to have that one inquiry fall off.........even if I only have a "0" inquiries status for 1 month........curious what it will do for my score Smiley Happy

Won't have any impact on your score as only the first 12 months can in impact your score, anything after 12 months till 24 months it has 0 impact on score.

I can see why you want 0 inquiries though, would be an assume feeling although I will never get to feel it Smiley Happy

Re: PC'd my Chase Rewards to Freedom

I meant to say that my one inquiry hits the 1 year mark in June. I know it will still be on the report but I'll be interested to see what happens when it stops affecting my score.
