Ray,

I did PC from my Hilton HHonors Visa Signature to Citi Forward three years ago and they refused to renew my card without any reason. I like my Zync with restaurant pack and the MR points combined with PR Gold. It earned a lot of MR points.  I don't think I have too much luck to apply for another Citi Forward card.  You might want to get Costco Amex and it's free if you already have Costco membership.

Ron.

Thanks Ron,

Is that pack worth the fee? I budget $250 per month for dining out. And we usually spend that amount.

As for the TE Amex, I had one of those and PC'd it to a BCE as we are not going to renew our Costco Membership. Interesting though, when I log on to Amex and check the rewards, it still shows my BCE card getting the 2% on dining out. I may need to call them on this to verify it is correct.....

Ray,

It depends how much you're going to spend on the card. I think it is worth it if you don't have Costco Amex. You can combined MR points if you have PR Gold or Green.  I spread my spending between couple of cards such as BB RZMC Platinum (the places don't take Amex), Amex Zync, Costco Amex (already have the executive membership) and Chase Ink. I haven't used BCE for dining out and I didn't know they give out 2%.  I thought they only gives 1%.

Ray - Did you speak with a front line CSR? I got the same response when requesting to PC my Diamond Preferred to the Forward. So I asked to speak to a supervisor, explained that I wanted to PC to the forward card so that I could have a purpose to use and and voila! The supervisor indicated they would PC it for me. Pretty easy process once you are past the front line CSR.

No - I sent them a secure email. I think I will give them a call and follow your lead on this.

Thanks!

Thanks for this information. In my case, I think I still see the extra percentage due to the PC from the True Earnings to the BCE. I bet that will go away when the year is up.

Thanks for the extra info. Did you use the number listed on the Backdoor thread, or did you use the new number listed on page 3 of that same thread?
