But didn't you think a new app for FSR was worth it for the juicy SUB?
Thanks but I have reached my max jugglage of cards despite FSR and juicy SUB.
So far, I have closed my BankAmericard ($18k) and Elan affiliated business card ($10k).
My Penfed ($15k) and Target Circle
($13k) cards are also slated for closure.

Creative, but descriptive!
So, after closing BofA, Elan, PenFed, and Target, how many cards will remain, @NoMoreE46?
And what will be your new spending/rewards strategy going forward?

Thanks for inquiring @Aim_High. So after the closure of the four, I will be at 17 with a TCL a tiny bit > $400,000.
The current setup (we dont always strictly adhere to everything as such):
6%
Groceries at Neighborhood Walmart - Amex BCP
5%
Amazon.com - Chase Prime card
Amazon.com - Amex Business Prime
Groceries at Publix - Custom Cash
Fuel - 2nd Custom Cash
Home improvement - Lowes (AU)
Utilities - USB Cash + (AU)
Rotating - Discover
4%
Dining - Savor
Dining- Amex Gold
3%
All else - Apple card/Apple Pay
**All else - USB Smartly (** Evaluating for the 4% tier)
The CL for the above 12 cards = $260,000.
While these 5 buy some bubblegum cards below = $140,000:
SD
PNC Points
Barclays Rewards
QuickSilver
WF Active Cash
WF Autograph

Last month, I called about a PC- Agent reaffirmed that you have to wait a year.
Yesterday, I was able to PC via Chat.
Looking forward to annual Amazon Prime fee reimbursement. This should
net me $90 after the AF.Ha, I made a phone call for the same purpose just a few hours ago myself!
I'm waiting for my message/notification that the APR will increase, and the rep said once I respond to that in the affirmative the change should be complete in 2-3 days. (I don't know why she couldn't just confirm the new rate with me on the phone while we were doing everything else, but as long as it works I don't care.)
I'm hopeful the Amazon Prime reimbursement will work for me as well! (At least for a year, hopefully longer.) My Prime renews next month so I don't have long to wait.
So the PC process seems to be faster via Chat.PS, my card logo updated the next morning to the FS.
My Prime fee hits in May.
It looks like that's definitely the case. For what it's worth my rep was extremely pleasant, so no complaints there.
I had heard about the back-and-forth via chat, so I figured by calling they'd be able to ask me all the pertinent questions at once and just be done with it, but I was mistaken.
I just replied back to the chat message a little bit ago (I think I did it right, we'll see I guess). It's weird, I didn't get an email that I had a message... I just checked, and it was there. Had I not been expecting it, I never would have known. I guess I need to check my settings.
Hopefully mine will be updated overnight as well. (There's really no urgency for me, but I just want to see it finished.) My Prime fee hits on 2/24 so I'll have another data point for us in a few weeks.
For what it's worth, my PC completed yesterday (apparently they don't do PC stuff on weekends) and I'm now the proud owner of a Flagship Visa Signature card.
My card number didn't change but I'm waiting on the new plastic before adding the card to Amazon. I know the existing card/CVV still works for purchases but I want to use the new CVV with Amazon to remove all variables from the 'experiment'.
In a few weeks when the Prime fee hits I'll circle back and share what happens. Fingers crossed! ![]()

Turns out I didn't need to wait after all... my new card arrived today, and the expiration and CVV are the same as the old card. I went ahead and followed the activation instructions anyway out of an abundance of caution (possibly something with the chip was different? I dunno).
Anyway, when I added the card to Amazon the artwork downloaded was for the Flagship so apparently my PC is complete (it's not going to take months like some banks <cough> U.S. Bank <cough>).
I'll circle-back after my Prime fee hits in a few weeks to report what happens. ![]()
Apologies for the hijack, @NoMoreE46. This has been a very informative thread!

For a millisecond as I was reading this sentence I was thinking BoA...until I read the Socks Bank mention lol
My PC was from the More Rewards Amex so no chance of keeping the same set of numbers.
Did you notice that the stated Cash Advance Limit is listed as a Percentage vs the typical assigned dollar amount?
and Cheers to being informative!

Yep, mine was the same! ![]()
Alright, my Prime membership fee completely posted to my Flagship card last night... now for the wait to see if I'm one of the lucky ones!
<fingers crossed>

Be sure to follow up...inquiring minds want to know....

I agree with fusion. The more times I read that the prime membership is creditied beyond the first year, the warmer and the fuzzier I feel!
It's too early to know, but I am dying to see if, perhaps, the More Rewards might continue to credit Walmart+ subscriptions year after year.
