PC to Virgin America Premium Visa?

Hi Everyone-

I just applied for and received a Virgin America Visa Signature Card. After taking a closer look at the benefits, the Virgin America Premium Visa Signature Card would better suit my needs. I read up on a couple threads here and on another frequent flyer forum and it looks like you can do this PC at any point in time. I just called Comenity and the representative told me that I need to wait until my current account is 1  year old to request this PC.

Can anyone advise as to whether this information is correct or not?

Re: PC to Virgin America Premium Visa?

If the one you want is a hier tier card(meaning higher AF, which I beleive is true with what you are saying) then one year would be true due to the card act of 2009.  As you can't PC this a higher AF card within a 12 months or something along those lines, so out of comenities hands.  You can thank the card act for that.. Has some good stuff and some pita stuff in it.
