Re: PENFED

Thanks for your reply John. I have paid all my credit cards. I should have zero balance as soon as they would report to the CRA. Then I will send PENFED reconsideration letter. I can explain about verizon but what should I say about too many open accounts in such a short time?

Thanks

Well, that's tricky, isn't it? I don't think that if you told them that when things get slow at work, it's so tempting to app.

Where I live, there is a saying for times like this: "The chickens have come home to roost." I'm not saying I told you so, or scolding, or anything else. This is simply the logical consequence of applying for pretty much every CC on the face of the planet. I think that you probably look incredibly scary to any creditor at this point. (sorry... Smiley Sad )

I really do think that you've gotten trapped into an addictive mindset of endlessly hunting. IMO, it's time to use one of those cards and go buy some running shoes or a new basketball or a guitar or oil paints, and give your brain some new brain candy to lust after. Come up for air!!! Good luck.

Re: PENFED

Thanks for your honest opinion. You are right. I should wait for at least one year before applying for anything.

Re: PENFED

Yeah, really..
Each day I log in and I see one of your new posts on a app you got approved or declined - and whats surprising, usually a low CL - and if that didnt tell you anything, I am glad you learned from this one!

I mean I bet you now have over 20 cards from what I have read, lol

Remember that though inquiries stay on for one year, they are visible for upto 2 years, manual review of CR will really not be good in that case

Re: PENFED

Meds awren't enough - Coma for ashabbir!

NO MORE APPS - the more INQ the less chance you stand of getting a decent card in a year where ONE card's CL could equal the sum of all of these now.
