PFD with OC?

I have an acct w/WFNB for 1481.  In the past I've been behind.

I'd like to offer them the full payment for a pfd.  Think they'll go for it?  I'd like to get that entire trade line erased.

All you can do is try! I've heard that they're not the most cooperative bank on the face of the Earth. Smiley Sad

Re: PFD with OC?

I hate their website that they have for V.S. It's very clumsy getting around.

I've thought of closing it many times, but then....ooooooooooooo a new sale! lol.

I have a couple of 30 day lates from 3 or 4 years ago, and haven't attempted GW'ing.

fishbc, is the account in collections? Sounds like it is.

Re: PFD with OC?

No it's not in collections, but it's reporting as 60 late...I'd like to get the entire trade line erased.  I'm going to send them a letter and see what they say.  My min payment is $245 rather than $66 because they added late fees and cannot explain the rest...hmm

Re: PFD with OC?

Oh how awful! Sorry to hear your problems.

Remember...if you close a cc, you immediately lose the benefit of the cl reporting, (which helps utilization) and that loss could cause your scores to drop. But the payment history remains for 7 years.

$245.00??? What gives? Certainly they can't tack on THAT many fees, can they? That stinks. Smiley Sad
