What is the new account threshold for PNC Cash Rewards as far as inquiries and new accounts. For example US Bank likes no more than 1/12 new accounts. What is the general rule for PNC Cash Rewards?

My friend @Gmood1 will give you the scoop
Some DPs I have copied down concerning this card are:
-They pull EX F09
-You can initiate a SP CLI every six months.
Not what you are looking for, but it's a start.

PNC hates inquires .
The amount they hate them is in reverse proportion to the thickness/depth/cleanliness of the individual profile. It does help somewhat if you've had checking/savings with them for a while.
Note that they normally pull EX.
Coudln't remember the exact number of inq I had reporting on EX when I got mine, it was 30.
Agree they arent inquiry sensitive depending on files. Gosh knows how many inquiries I have and not even in their geo fence but went to sisters wedding in florida hit up a branch got approved for my first Cash Rewards card then 4 months later with about 9 Exp Inquiries in 12 months approx got another approval. So obviously YMMV with them. If you bank with them which I dont it certainly would help as well as seen some people with lower scores get some nice CL's out the gate with them
Wow! How many within 6 months?
LOL @Wavester64
I can't remember the number of inqs I had. It was more than a few.
As @coldfusion says its defintely profile driven as well as the timing.
Now that things have tightened up quite a bit. Who knows what their mood is now?
All you can do OP is throw you hat in and see how it goes.
Well all I can rely on is my experience. I had about 24 in 2 years and tried twice with them instant denial and number one reason inquiries. My file is clean but not too long of a history .
Of course others have different experiences. Good luck if you decide to go for it .
I am a PNC banking customer and they are super conservative. Had a $14k cash rewards card with them once. Paid it off and closed it. Came back a few years later, they begged me to apply, they gave me a $1000 SL. lol This is after I had a $10K average SL on my other cards. I said no thank you. And I have my paycheck deposited there every two weeks. So there is a relationship. But they didn't care. lol
Never ahd any baddies or lates. No BKs or collections. Not even sure my utilization was high. My wife used to work for them. She said they are ultra-conservative. I believe it.
