PNC Secured Card

Does any one have a PNC secured credit card? From what I have heard that it is a done deal and no credit is checked. Does any one know if that is true?

Pnc told me it was a guarenteed approval. I dont know if they run credit

Just be advised that it NEVER, EVER unsecures. You have to apply for an unsecured card...which creates an entire new tradeline and knocks down your AAoA...and they do not backdate...all info straight from PNC.

I just spoke to a rep and they told me they do run credit and they may turn you down for it too.

Why would you ever want it anyway?  You have arguably too many recent tradelines anyway... and with some of cards in your siggy, the PNC secured is frankly laughable.
