Planing in near future to apply for PNC card anyone know if they give decent credit lines ?
and why are they pulling in NY ?
is it also fico 9 ?
Experian FICO 09.. SL depends on profile among many other things
And, they tend to be on the conservative side with CLs, but not overly.
I've found PNC to be pretty generous all around (on both the personal and business sides) including with steady CLIs. I've had deposit accounts with them for probably 20 years, so that may help.
Not terribly difficult to get a SL in the $10-$20K range if you have a clean profile.
I got my PNC card at the end of a 5 card spree, so my SL was only $5K. I had 2 EX pulls days before I applied, so I'm sure that hurt. It has grown pretty well though. It went from $5 to $10,500 in a year.
I just grabbed PNC Power Cash Visa a couple weeks ago. They showed my EX-09 at 779 in their documentation they sent with the card. SL $9500. This was also right after grabbing AOD.

I got the Cash Rewards in December and it wa my lowest CL - 2500 lower than my lowest card, but 5K - 7.5K lower than the others. Not sure if that was due to Covid. I only had one inquiry that was over 12 months old. I have multiple accounts with PNC for many years.
What account would get me this card? I open a high yield savings account. Is it the virtual checking pro one? Thanks!

Any account relationship is eligible. The question is more along the lines about your profile, income, etc., to determine if you meet their criteria, especially if they're able to provide a pre-qualified offer online.
