I've seen alot of people get $3000 increases out of the CLI button on the website. If you have had a $3000 or larger jump in one click, if you don't mind sharing, please let me know which card you have, what your balance was at the time and the increase amount. If you happen to know the volume being put throught the card, I would appreciate knowing that too.
I have put $20,000 through my QS World Mastercard since November 1 alone and my end of year showed $47,000 on the card last year. With my limit just at $5000 and my 6 month eligibility being available in a few weeks, I'm curious whether its possible to get a real nice increase via LUV button or whether I will have to get with the EO to try and get to $10-12,000. I pay the balance off a couple times a month.

Highest I have seen was a 10k increase recently on a Venture card with a 20k limit and person pushed around 17k through it a month it appears from what I saw so they raised their limit to 30k.. Typical is 1-3k increases.. If you are using it as much as you stated then I probably would guess you will get a 3k increase. You can always try emailing the EO if you don't get what you want and really need the extra breathing room after trying at 6 months although I wouldnt expect it. Best of luck

Thanks, I had e-mailed the EO in September when my limit was only $1500... I was using the card heavily but crippled by the relatively small limit. I asked for $5000 and they gave me what I asked for. I didn't push the button that month to see what they would have given me. I think my plan will be to push the button in March when its up again and see if the EO will grant me even more love. I'm showing them all my spending love as I put every single bill I can through the card. Thanks for your answer and good wishes!

You might have better luck just going back and applying for new cards (venture/QS combo) then consolidating at 6 months!

My 4th month on my Quicksilver (Visa).
First time I got an approval for $350. Waited two weeks after that, and I got an approval for $3000.
This made my credit limit go from $3000 to $6000.
Balance at the time was around 700. Heavy usage -- 1-2k per month.
Hope this helps!
i got $3k on mine after about 3 months.
aoriginal pproval limit - $10k
amount put through in the 3 months -$3,008.50
balance showing when requested - around $500

+1
With the amount of spend you've been putting through your account, you may be better off applying for the QS VS and/or the Venture. Was you Cap 1 MC upgraded from a different card?
Edited to add: DH received 3K CLI while he was carrying a high balance.
Bear in mind a couple things:
These are scores from the OPs sig:
02/08/2016 - EQ: 613 - TU: 643 - EXP: 668 (All FICO 8)
Cap1 Doesn't use Fico8s if I recall correctly however .... Amount of spend or not, if those scores reflect in your profile with them, lenders are going to give pause and prudence.
mine was SL 3k, ran about 3k per month through it for 3-4 months, 5th month in a decided to try the luv button and got a 3k CLI from it.
Tried again in month 7 (after putting 4k through it in one month and paying back down to zero) and was denied for a recent CLI.
To clarify, both times I clicked the balance was back down to zero.

My mother got an auto-CLI of $3k on her Platinum MC without asking. She had a thin file when she was approved for the card, and after a few months of solid usage got the nice auto CLI.
