No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I have read alot of good suggestions, I would suggest reading the forums when you narrow down the choices and see who was approved that have similiar profiles.. There have been people who were denied membership in credit unions and also Denied Credit Cards. The best advice out of all is of them is: No matter who you pick, a HARD PULL will be made....which will effect the credit score even more. So do not go on mass apps. like you read about. Pick 1 maybe 2, but the best way to approve the credit profile/score is with Time. Honestly I would suggest letting things age off and not apply at all (nobody says that on the forum
).
P.S. Secured Card is best(no hard pull), like mentioned, stop looking for a card that ages(hard pull) Believe it or not, you can still get denied for a secured card. and nothing is worse.....THAN GETTING DENIED AND GETTING A HARD PULL AND ALL THREE SCORES DROPPING. ![]()
Bof A, wells Fargo and cap 1 all have secured credit cards. I won't give you any advice, your getting enough already, but I will say. On feb 15 2011 my credit score was like yours. An average of 550. To day its 696. Back then I thought I would never see 700. I was wrong. It will come together for ya.
Whogavemecredit.com. Or creditcardforums.com have info on who got what with what score.
