My account has had the new "chip" image for a over a month now, yet still no card has showed up.

They can send me the CLI reject letter in 3 business days...no problem!

It bothers me that when they send you a new card you don't even have to call to activate it. When I get replacement cards from other companies it comes in a random envelope. Anyone can open up the card envelope and use the card, lol.

Yeah the card comes in a capital one envelope and the card has no activation sticker or anything. Not that great of a security measure.

I didn't get the chip card. I'm just saying capital one cards in general. When I product changed to Quicksilver they just sent me a new card in a capital one envelope with no activation sticker. And then the same thing happened when I put an image on my card.

Nope, not just new acvounts. I updated my Platinum to QS1, arrived in the mail about a week later with no activation required and a note saying my card was ready for use. Pretty scary. My QS1 image also changed in my online account to reflect the chip but no card yet.
