PSECU Combo

Hey all,

I am interested in apping for the Combo with PSECU. However, I am a bit worried that I will be declined. Here are my stats:

Ex inqs: 3 (only PSECU in last 12 months)
New accounts in last 12 months: 3
Debt: 14k
Utilization: 50%
income: 70-80k
Ex FIco:730 (no negatives)
Membership length: 2 months (out of state)

What are my odds? Should I ask for the 20/20? I would like to BT my debt over and take advantage of the low rate.

Thanks.

Re: PSECU Combo

Go for it though your utilization is very high. Worst thing is a wasted inquiry.

Re: PSECU Combo

Does your Util include any rent payments? If not and you have rent payments, PSECU will add them to your Util. My CC util is very low, but with my rent payments, it was too high for PSECU. But like they said above, the worst that can happen is a wasted inquiry.

Re: PSECU Combo

high UTI in combination with 3 new accts may put something of a damper on 20/20 app rslts IMO.

Re: PSECU Combo

I pulled the trigger last night and received the message that my application needed to be reviewed. I called this morning and spoke with a loan officer. He was very upbeat, said my DTI was fine, but wanted documentation (w2 + pay stubs) because of the loan amount. I can't fax the docs until tomorrow unfortunately.

Cause for excitement? I don't want to get my hopes up, but he didn't say anything negative about my credit report.
