PSECU - Loans Approved. Combine?

So I apped for the Visa for 20k.  Approved.  Then apped for the PSL for 20k.  Approved. 

From my reading, I understand that you can "combine" the two??  So you would have two 40k revolving loans reporting?  Is this correct?

Is the combining automatic or do you call\email with the request?

Answered my own question after talking to the rep.

Apparently you can't apply for the visa and line of credit seperately and then combine.  What I should have done was apply for the Combo PSLV right off the bat for 20k.  Because I applied for the PSL and visa seperately, they said I had to reapply.  I did and was approved for 20k.

The end result was 3 hard pulls (1 for membership, 1 for visa and PSL, 1 for combo).  Could have gotten away with 2 if I had done it properly.

My understanding is that this will report as two 40k limits.  If my understanding is incorrect, please let me know!!

Unless something has changed recently, you have an unusual situation.  PSECU has a MAX $20k CL per member for all combined revolving accounts.  So if you have a $20k Visa, you should not be able to get any other revolving accounts.
