Re: PSECU question

hi lovinmyfico. psecu only pulls experian and make sure that your bk is discharged or dismissed and that all collections are paid. if the collection is paid and has not updated on your credit report yet get a letter from them stating that it is paid. i have a paid collection and a 6yr old bk. my utilization is at 8%. they gave me a 20,000.00 credit card and a auto loan for 20015.00 with a 3.99% interest rate. if you want the cc ask for the exact amount you want because they will hard pull everytime you want a credit line increase or any type of credit. it could be a day apart and they will pull your credit again. hope this helps.

Re: PSECU question

Hi grusell70,

I don't have a bk, and my collections were paid in 2008.  I was just commenting on what the csr told me what they look for and what are the considerations for anyone else looking to apply.

Thank you for your information though, I would probably shot for 20k and see what they counter offer.  I'm going to wait until July when things are looking much much better on my reports Smiley Very Happy

Congrats btw
