Slightly off topic, once you get a 2% general spending card, time to combine your QS One into QS to avoid the AF for an useless $400 CL card, then PC it to Savor One when available.
Yep, I have no need for both. The QS1 is in credit steps, 5th statement just cut so waiting for the 1st auto CLI and 6 month mark in October.
looks like the PayPal CB is a better card. and the Citi DC is just not worth it without the $150 bonus / 0% Intro APR for 15 months

The Paypal CB MC only came out fall 2017 whereas the Citi DC came out years ago and at the time the Paypal MC didn't have no FTF. The FTF abolition only came a few months afterwards. There are a lot of people who have both. I've definitely SD'ed my DC most of the time now though.
It's actually not so tilted in Paypal's favor though. As mentioned, DC has SUBs every so often. The intro 0% APR can be a good thing. Citi also has good price rewind protection. And it's easier to PC into DC from other Citi cards. Lots of people probably also PC'ed into DC for a no frills no-AF general spend card.
