Anyone else get this? Pretty nice offer to be honest.

I wish I would have gotten this before I paid collection agency the other day! 😂
Only fine print says you have to activate and purchases must post by 4/22, statement credit issued within 2 months.
I think I can toss Sync some spend for 12.5% back. ![]()
I would imagine this stacks on top of the regular 2% as well although it doesn’t say.
Does Sync send offers out like this often? Kind of nice to have a card that actually gives me decent offers. BBVA sends me offers like the St Patrick’s day one but it’s only valid for up to 3000 extra points for up to $1000 in purchases at restaurants and ride sharing services but only on 3/17 which makes it extremely limited and the offer is nowhere near as nice either (it’s only 3% for $30 max).
Capital One doesn’t even give me BT offers...
I got this one, which is the first I've gotten with the card.
Easy money.
Yeah it is way easy to hit that spend for me, I’ll just make it my groceries card and I need an Xbox 12 month refill. Glad to see you got an offer as well!
I just realized that I have different verbiage.

It looks like you can use your card anywhere but mine specifically says “and check out with PayPal.”
That kind of changes things if I have to use PayPal for the purchase... I do not really shop anywhere that takes PayPal anymore. I was going to just pick up a year of Xbox Live and a $160ish Comcast bill charge but I will have to think about it now.
Well Boo I haven’t gotten any offers from them other than emails to not forget to use my card for 2% back 😂. Maybe they are trying to get me to use it more, I only put about $100 through it a month with exception of the first month where I put $1K on it. I’ve been giving Discover most of my spending since then because I want to grow my limit with them and it’s in the first year of cash back match.
But it’s nice to know it’s possible to get those offers with this card. I’ll keep an eye out.

No soup for me! Maybe my account is too new to generate offers. My first statement will cut within the next week.

I think they are just trying to get me to actually use it. Until I put my $492 collection charge on there the other day, I had only used it twice since I got it in January. I used it for myFICO for $29.95 in January and I used it for $15 for a new drivers license in February.
But it is kind of sneaky to add “and check out with PayPal” to my conditions for it. There’s a reason I don’t use the card often — I’ve got my spend covered in higher amounts by other cards.

I interpret "check out with Paypal" in this instance to mean use their card. Paypal includes everything Paypal. They're not trying to trick you. If you have doubts, simply call or chat.
Almost everywhere I shop online, there is an option to use "Paypal Checkout". It saves time filling out my address and being as my Paypal card is attached to my Paypal spend account as the primary source of payment, it automatically gets the 2% cashback.
I wish they would "trick" me with this offer. They figure I don't need incentive as I average about $500 a month on their card. My bad. lol

Yese, I got the same offer and noticed the Paypal restriction. Which does make things harder for just $25!
I hit up chat and the $25 offer has to be done through PayPal check out, not using the card outside of PayPal.
So I got a year of Xbox Live for $39.99 and then went on Boxed and placed a huge order bringing me to $201.70 out of $200 required. 😂
