Thank you for highlighting bare bones, as if I did not already know that.
What may be simple for one person is a monumental task for others.
My apologies @Anonymous . It wasn't my intention to belittle the effort required. I only meant to ease your concern, by letting you know it wasn't necessarily as bad as it looks at first blush.
Another Thing I have done that helps kill 2 birds with 1 stone since you have regular bills to pay as well...
Figure up what bills can be paid with credit card:
Electric, Cell phone, car ins. I used a cash back card,,, capital one... instead of using debit card etc to pay these,, use capital one so you benefit from the small cash back.. it adds up.
Put the amount due for electric bill as example on capital one,,, let the statement cut ,,, you have a lower or close to zero balance ..hense saving interest.. then use it and pay the bills,,, now .. you saved interest, boosted your score, and earned cash back. You also had 1 less monthly payment to come up with that you can now apply to another card.
I also know Finger hutt can be paid with credit card,,, so use capital one to YOUR benifit. 49.00*1.5%=.74 x12=8.88 you got for free and thats just 1 bill. I easily rack up free $ just by using the cash back card to pay my bills that can be paid with a credit card.
Edited to add finger hutt info.
