I have a couple credit cards which have balances under $1 and none of them will let you make a payment for less than $1 so I am wondering when a statement is cut am I going to have a minimum payment due that I can't even pay or is there a minimum required balance for a payment to be due on the account? I'm slightly confused about this because I'm wondering if I need to charge a few bucks to these cards so I can pay them lol.
My overstock card has a .76 balance, one of my Mastercards has a .50 balance (used it to verify my identity, hence the stupidly small charge) and I then afterwards realized I couldn't pay a payment because my balance was too low, just curious... would seem kind of ridiculous if I had to go out and buy a candy bar to pay my bill.
Use your banks online bill pay or mail a a check.
Never thought to try the bank's online bill pay (never used it before) and in my 35 years I've also never written a check, I grew up in the age of doing everything online but thanks for the suggestions (I don't even have checks lol) but I might try the online bill pay, or just get my balance over $1 if that's easier.
I have yet to actually see if they're even going to say a payment is due though, that's kind of what I was curious about too.

They are going to say a payment is due even if it is a cent. So I do as the other poster above suggested.
run to the corner and get gas, milk, whatever, and pay in a few days.
my CC's usually withdraw the test deposits to make a 0 balance. I just added new account to 12 cc's and auto today. here we go again.
I've had a balance on CapOne before that was under a buck and they removed it. I don't know if that is a standard procedure but for me the balance was zero'd out...again YMMV.
Thanks for all the responses, I could just wait and see of course but I keep a file with all my CC info (payment dates, balances, etc.) and I want to have these in the "no balance" category so I don't need to watch them as closely... guess I should just do the bank billpay and make sure so I don't have to think about it, setting up auto pay sounds like a great idea too I don't normally use stuff like that.

Wow, I'm several years younger than you and I've written plenty of checks (and I have checks )!
I agree with Chris -- for such low balances, the banks will most likely write it off. It probably costs more to process a payment.
Will it let you overpay? Do that and either keep the credit balance on the card or request a refund check. These usually get sent automatically after 90 days.
