Payment to post BBVA/PNC

So I tried to make a payment using the PNC app - I get this error message:

Does this mean one MUST have a PNC bank account to pay one's card balance using the App?

Idk, but is there a "payment method" link somewhere in the app perhaps?  If so, check there first to see if your outside bank accts. are listed.

There is, but from the mobile app (at least for iOS) it only displays PNC accounts.  If there's a workaround I haven't been able to find it. 

 I had even tried before to initiate an external transfer from one of my already-linked external accounts but it only offers checking/savings accounts as potential targets, not the CC. 

Those external accounts are displayed and known to work if I initiate a pull from them when logged in online.

With everything going on, you're probably better off pushing the payment from your FI to PNC for a while.

I just played around on the Android version of the app and couldn't find a way to pay from an external account either. Now having the mobile wallet makes paying from the desktop app somewhat of an Easter egg hunt.

I received my new card today and just activated it and used it once on Amazon. 

For payment I scheduled a push from my trusted Capital checking and it will initiate on 11/3 and the message says the delivery will be 11/9, which surprised me because it is so very late.  If I do the same with my Chase, Amex, BoA cards it would all be delivered on 11/4.  

So if anyone wanted to do a push from another FI, you might want to do it a week before the due date to be safe, at least for the first few times.

I was able to pay online tonight.  I had PNC pull the payment. 

My two banks from my BBVA account did migrate properly.

Still odd that my two FIs aren't appearing on the App.  

One would think transferring all FI info would have been part of the Alpha  and at worst Beta testing.

Y'all double check autopay settings too.  Don't assume anything.

I've always had to do an external transfer on the online site to pay my card payment with PNC. You can't do it from the app - at least I've never found a way to do it.
