They do have an old IT structure. They upgraded it some in the past year or two, but you still can't do automatic deductions to PIF, which really means very active management. Probably can't afford it or they like people not paying in full for the interest.

I think this is the old (no longer offered) Amex Blue that offered 5% on various things once a $6.5K spending limit was reached.
That is correct. It's still working, I get 5% unlimited on gas/grocery/drug store after spending 6500 (I spend too much money so it works well). Amex so far is the only one that hasn't nerfed me, give it time...
