So, update! I logged in last week and saw the 33K limit...on a brand new card! So, my online account showed my original card for $25,700 and a new one for $33,000. I disn't want a new card so I called and they said that there must have been a glitch in the sytem caused by the 25k limit they imposed after I opened my new card like you talked about. Although, of course, approving a brand new 33K card doesn't make sense in that context, either, but whatever. It took a couple of calls, but they closed the new card, eliminating it from thr face of the earth because I don't want a new card reporting (at least not this one.)
My old card still reflects $25,700 which is fine by me. So, um, be careful I guess!
Had to resurrect this thread and chime in on a phenomenom that just never happens in my "world" especilly with penfed
Was checking over my accounts like I do every fist of the month to see a very nice looking fico update probaly my first 60 point swing since I have been a member for the last 3 years and get this..... FINALLY SOME BLEEPING OFFERS!
Thing about it, I realy don't need them lol! Already have Powercash rewards $30,000 closed both Promise & Platinum. Would have been nice to offer a credit line increase on my exsisting card or another product. Oh well it's certainly a start.

should be able to possibly turn that 20k on powercash into a SP CLI. let others ring in that know how pre-approvals work with them as still yet to ever receive one
Congrats! I joined clean and 41 months later...
...I got more TurboTax offers.

@CreditCruriosity, that is just the thing I was wondering too. As it would better serve me to just take the $20k as an increase. Don’t see the option to increase limits anymore on actual credit cards though.Have they taken away that option?
I'm not sure how firm they are on the $25k cap per card. You have been a member for while.
I can't recall the exact steps. I believe what you do is select the card you all ready have and proceed with the next step.
